Your account and content
You are responsible for the prayer content, names, and photos you add to your house. Don't add other people's identifying information without their consent. Don't use Prayhouse to harm, harass, or curse another person — Prayer Writer will refuse such requests.
House Pro and Community subscriptions
House Pro and Community are sold as auto-renewing subscriptions (monthly or yearly). Subscriptions are billed by the Apple App Store and processed by RevenueCat on our behalf. Subscription fees are charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase and renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel a subscription anytime in your device's subscription settings. Refunds are handled by Apple per their App Store policies.
Prayer Writer
Prayhouse uses third-party AI providers (OpenAI and OpenRouter) to draft prayers from the requests you write. AI output is generated and may occasionally produce unexpected, inaccurate, or theologically imprecise text. You are free to edit any drafted prayer. We do not represent AI-drafted prayers as the words of God or any clergy member.
Notifications and analytics
With your permission, Prayhouse sends you push notifications (e.g. house activity, prayer reminders). You can turn these off in your device settings at any time. Anonymous usage analytics are collected via PostHog to help us improve the app.
Termination
You may delete your account at any time from the People tab. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or that are used to abuse other people. Deletion of your account does not refund any unused subscription period; cancel through Apple's settings before deleting if you want to stop renewals.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Prayhouse and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us for House Pro or Community in the past twelve months.
